Quiz Two Results
The winners of the second round in the Triquizard Tournament were Demon Dogs, thanks to a fine performance in the final round. This result makes them overall leaders in the tournament too. It was another close contest on the night, with more than half of the teams still in with a shout of winning as we entered the final round. This was a somewhat contentious “Where Am I“ round embraced whole-heartedly by some and approached with a real “go for it” attitude by others. The Headstrongs had another good night, winning the evening long quiz and scoring maximum points in the Halloween Round to win the spot prize too. The overall tournament is now very close with just 6 points separating the first 5 teams.  There’s all to play for in the final round. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the raffle. In total we raised £110 towards News & Views funds on the evening. Thank You.

Quiz Three Results
The winners of the 2011 Triquizard Tournament are Demon Dogs! In another very close contest on Weds 30th November Demon Dogs just pipped several teams to the overall prize, winning a voucher for £60 to spend at the Druid. The winners of the quiz on the night were the Headstrongs, with a very strong performance, particularly on the Word Power round! Where’s Watson were third on the evening and third overall in the tournament. Other winners on the night were: Easee for the highest score in the evening-long mixed quiz and Sick of Ants for the most entertaining answer to a question on the evening, with some very inventive names for Santa’s reindeer! Thank you to all teams for their great support. We raised just over £300 from the tournament, which is very much appreciated. The scores from each round and overall are below. Thanks also to Jim & Julie; Aunty She for her great help with scoring; to Adrian for the sound system and to the raffle prize donators.
