Owen Hall has completed a huge personal challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Owen managed the magnificent feat of 5 days of sustained running with one rest day due to the injury in Prestatyn. He arrived at his final destination at 6.45pm on Saturday, exhausted but elated. The Offa’s Dyke path is a distance of some 177 miles, but, as we know, it’s not just a flat run! Offa’s Dyke path, roughly follows the historical border between England and Wales, starts near Chepstow and ends at Prestatyn, with some of the most challenging sections between Llangollen and the coast. The Dyke itself is believed to have been constructed in the 8th century during the reign of Offa, the ruler of Mercia. You can still sponsor Owen by going to: http://www.justgiving.com/Owen-Hall0
